Hitler Know About AI Technology. Would you believe that Hitler used AI technology? If it is true, we should believe it. News reports say that during World War II, ‘Adolf Hitler’ used AI technology to control his military weapons from his location and knew exactly when and where weapons would explode, something only he understood. This suggests that the foundations of artificial intelligence (AI) started even in that era.
Adolf Hitler lived between 1899 and 1945. He led the Nazi party in Germany, rising to power and becoming the leader of Germany. Under his leadership, Germany invaded European countries during World War II, spreading destruction. One reason for their strength wasn’t just their powerful military but also a brilliant machine called the ‘Enigma’.
The Enigma machine was used by the Nazi forces to send encrypted messages, giving orders for attacks and strategies. These encrypted messages were impossible to decode by any country, including Britain, so the enemy had no idea when or where the next attack would happen. The idea of breaking the Enigma code was believed to be impossible, something only in imagination.
At that time, a British mathematician named ‘Alan Turing’ joined the British Intelligence Agency to help crack these encrypted messages. Turing believed that, instead of simply trying to break the Enigma machine, a machine itself could be created to decode them. He formed a team to work on this and, after working day and night, they built a machine called ‘Christopher’. This helped defeat Germany’s plans and eventually led to their defeat after 1941.
In honor of Turing, the machine became known as the ‘Turing Machine’, which later evolved into what we now call ‘computers’.
In 1950, Alan Turing published an article called ‘Computing Machinery and Intelligence’, which changed the history of technology. In the article, Turing posed the question: ‘Can computers think?’ He tested this question with a famous experiment called the ‘Imitation Game’. The test involved asking variety of questions to both humans and computers, and determining how well the computer could respond like a human. This experiment led to the creation of the ‘Turing Test’, named after ‘Alan Turing’.
In the test, there are two rooms: one with a computer and the other with a human. A judge is outside both rooms and asks questions. The judge doesn’t know which room has the human or the computer. If the computer answers all the questions accurately, the computer is considered capable of thinking like a human.
Humans can answer questions like, ‘What is your favorite food?’ or ‘What is the most unforgettable event of your life?’ similarly, if a computer is trained with data and software, it can also provide correct answers. This ability of machines to think is what we call ‘Artificial Intelligence (AI)’.
Alan Turing’s work laid the foundation for modern AI. These global experiments helped lead to the development of this incredible technology.
